I was able to visit Germany, it was an amazing experience. This time of year, it is snowing and very cold, so it is necessary to dress very warm. It was great to see my kids playing in the snow and having fun. We were able to travel to the place were the Olympic skiing takes place. My kids were able to go sledding and they had so much fun but it was super cold so we couldn’t spend more than a few hours because my kids were so cold. Afterwards, we bought lunch and hot chocolate and sat around the fireplace to get warm at a restaurant in the ski place. After that we hopped on a shuttle to get back to the hotel. We relaxed for about 30 minutes then it was off to the heated pool and hot tub. The pool was amazing and the kids had a blast swimming and splashing . We would go from the pool to the hot tub. The hot tub was my favorite of course, it was freezing outside and this was where the hot tub was of course. Trying to get outside was quite the challenge because it was so cold. We shivered in out towels but as soon as we got in the hot tub, it felt so good. We would stay in the hot tub for about 30 minutes then go back to the pool then back to the hot tub.
After that we went back to our hotel room and took our shower and went to the restaurant for dinner. All five days we were able to go to the pool and the hot tub. We were able to ice-skating which was great to see my kids try to ice-skate for the first time. Even though I already know how to skate, I didn’t do it for a long time so I had to get use to it. After I warm up, I was able to go very slowly on the ice, but it was very fun and the kids enjoy it. I was able to try their hot dog which was very good too.
The snow on the mountains was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. It was truly a winter wonderland, and a great place to travel. The people there was very friendly and love talking to us even though I can’t understand one word that they are telling me. We had to use the train from the airport to go to our hotel, and back from our hotel and to the airport. The kids were bored on the train though because it was a super long ride. But we took taxi during our stay to get around town. Overall, I loved my travel to Germany, I hope I can go back one day, it is a great place to visit.
